Two MVPs Commit to SMU

It's on the home page but I thought I'd post it here, too. Some folks (like me!) don't look at the home page everyday. :roll:

from the DMN: Mount Vernon wide receiver Tim Monroe and Royse City running back James Mapps said they have orally committed to SMU.

Oral commitments are non-binding. The first day a recruit can sign a letter of intent is Feb. 2.

Monroe (6-2, 180) was the MVP of District 11-3A. Mapps (5-9, 175), the District 9-3A MVP, rushed for 2,488 yards and 32 touchdowns and also threw for 802 yards and six touchdowns.
