Does anyone know who is not coming back this semester due to the usual reasons such as grades, rules violations, home sickness, etc.?

Heard Brent Karrington has "retired" due to injury.
Don't know of others.

Karrington is a defensive lineman.

Or maybe you mean Desmond Jones? He had surgery on his knee, and isn't expected to play in the spring, although he's supposed to be ready in August.

Checked with Karrington's mom and she say's he will have another shoulder surgery in spring and then wait and see on rehab.

Unfortunately, it was no rumor. Quote from smumustangs.com:

It was a rumor before we got the facts,what 2 to 4 days before Bennett made the announcement. I say it was a rumor up to this point. I think you know what I meant . Hopefully Des fulfill all his requirements so we can get him and Mouton to play side by side to see what damage that tandem can do.He's played with the other DT's on the team. I'ts always rumors until you get the "official word".Right :?:

Last I heard was that Bonds has lost like 30 pounds and has really improved his quickness.

DT will be OK next year.

While I like the fact that both our lines are maturing, we really need Desmond to suck it up and get back out there next year. Until somebody shows me otherwise, he's still the best returning DT we have.
