FYI: Former SMU QB Josh McCown will start for the Sam Houston State Bearkats in the first round playoff game in Div. I-AA on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. in Huntsville, TX against the Northern Arizona State Lumberjacks. McCown's passing/rushing statistics have been impressive this season. Chances are very good he will be named the Southland Conference Player of the Year.

Sam Houston State goes into the game with a 9-2 season record (5-1 in the Southland Conference, co-champs with McNeeese State Cowboys) and Northern Arizona State has a 8-3 record and came in 2nd place in the Big Sky Conference.

If you live near Huntsville and want to see some exciting college football (since the Mustangs are out-of-town in North Carolina), come on over to the game!

I care about him. I always thought he had a good deal of ability and was sorry to see him transfer. He also signed a shirt for my son and became his favorite player ever. I wish Josh nothing but the best.
