surely, I am not the first person to notice that SMU has agreed to play UNT in 2006 in Denton and at Ford in 2007. Where is our Green friend?

Geez, here come a year's worth of trash posts out of Denton, telling us about who is a Grammy winner, and who gave them money, and how someday in the next millenium they will have new athletic facilities, and how they will beat us badly, and then after they lose to us, how we cheated them in some conspiratorial way. I do find it facinating that a school that allegedly cheated them out of CUSA membership, would agree to play a home and home series with them giving them the first game at their home. I really don't know why they would want to play us after we did them sooo wrong.

The new athletic center was just completed, the administrative staff moved in the 18th.

Pete, the personal rancor reflected in that remark I don't intend to dignify with comment. But I would like to address your general attitude of hopeless negativism. Consider the lilies of the field or... hell! Take at look at Delmar here as your paradigm of hope. --Ulysses Everett McGill

Actually, I thought that was rather funny, Berger.
At least he's doesn't act like that raving lunatic MeanGreenGem, who occasionally graces us with his online presence when he receives internet privileges from his cell at the correctional facility in Huntsville.

Will we let them park double wides on Bishop Boulevard before the game?

He's an acquired taste.
And it's the
Big Spring State Hospital, not a correctional facility.

in the present environment of Division 1A athletics this is a very wise economic decision for SMU. Now this doesn't mean this game won't come back and bite us in the [deleted] and make us look like total fools-but hey we've done a pretty good job of that ourselves over the last 15 years. I'm going to predict right now that this game will draw over 25,000 both home and away which for SMU is great. Considering SMU's recent attendance it has become more than just a no-win situation for SMU. In fact, this game could actually become a financial windfall for SMU. We have no business playing more than one Wake Forest/Northwestern game once every decade anyway-I hope BOTH those games are cancelled regardless of our Chicago alumni or east coast alumni. Talk about games that make ZERO financial sense.

I totally agree with Stallion about the Wake and Northwestern game. I does not make Dollars nor Cents/Sense.
Let's play the Baylor, TT, NTSU, Aggies, and how about La. Tech.
What about UT Arlington ?? That'a a few years off.
