COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M wide receiver Jason Carter was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor, according to the College Station Police Department.
Carter allegedly became agitated at a woman, and they had to be separated by police several times. When he continued screaming, swearing and making obscene gestures, he was arrested, police said.
Carter was the Aggies' second-leading receiver last season and would be eligible to play this fall if the former partial academic qualifier graduates by the end of the summer. An A&M spokesman said the team would handle the matter internally.
