Cup for the Metroplex

Not sure if this has ever been presented on this board, but it was a thought a few friends of mine tossed around (some of us from NT, some SMU)-

What if NT, TCU, and SMU played one another every year to battle for a "cup" for the metroplex?

Seems to me that it could create alot of buzz and excitement for all schools involved and would be great for packing out our respective stadiums, (especially once NT stops using the HS track stadium and gets a new one in a couple years). Might even get some national attention as a rivalry down the road between 3 teams in different conferences seperated by ~30 miles

I dont know how to coordinate such an effort, just wanted to get a feel for the general sentiment towards said idea!

Well I'm sure you'd have to include Paul Quinn College in the mix too.

this is something that absolutely SHOULD happen, but it's just too logical and therefore it probably never will.

This was done by the florida trinity with obvious results. Anything to restart the rivalries would be great for the teams and recruiting.
