Does anyone know what will come out of E.D and Copeland's Meeting. Is Eric going to start helping the Athletic Dept.??

......the fact is that a very low percentage of SMU athletes especially from that era have anything to do with the program. I loved the recent comment in the DMN about former SMU BB star Mike Wilson that many of his teammates literrally thought he might be dead because it had been so long since anyone had heard from him. Hey that might be a great slogan for the SMU Letterman's Association to get former teammates to go to games>> "2005: IF YOU AIN'T DEAD- PROVE IT"

An unnamed Board of Trustees member (former football player) told me that Jerry Levias is probably going to start playing a significant yet undefined role. They are still exploring ways for Dickerson to help, yet it will not likely be a sleeves rolled up day to day role.
Bennett is reaching out to this group, so we may see more of them in the near future.

This group is not used to anybody reaching out to them from SMU without an unmarked envelope in their hand. Should be fun to see what happens.

I believe the problem was that the envelopes were marked. Therefore, the NCAA had no problem proving the money came from the Athletic Department of SMU.
