Football Clinic

Kudos to Coach Faucette for putting on another great clinic for the kids! The turnout was very good and the kids had a GREAT time meeting the players and running the drills.

I would like to see another clinic in the fall and get these kids interested in Mustang football early on. It can only help attendance later on and might produce some future players that will look at us first rather than the state schools. The SMU campus puts everything else in this state to shame. The key is getting as much exposure as possible and getting these kids wanting to be future PONIES!

Thanks again Coach Faucette!

Agreed. I took 3 to the camp today and they all had a good time.

My younger son really liked #92 (Charlie Berry?). All the players were really good with the kids.

Hey Sic_em..does this mean you might support the ponies when they aren't playing your Bears? Come on out on any Saturday and enjoy a local D-1 football game in beautiful Ford stadium. We would love to see you there.

Yup - #92 is Charlie Berry. He didn't play in the Red/Blue game (injury?), but he's a great young man.

I am both a Baylor and SMU fan. Earned my undergrad at BU and an MBA at SMU. I do pull for SMU when they're not playing the Bears and usually make a few SMU football and hoops games every year.
