They've added yellow piping to their road jerseys and done away with the Block "M" on the uniform.

Not a good move.

They'd look better if they were royal blue.

With the exception of changing the old "royal blue" look to "navy blue" .. our uniforms were sooo good looking! SMU.. Please take back your red uniforms and blue helmets.. and give me the navy blue jersey and white helmet/red mustang!!

If you are going to make that argument, why not go back to the uniforms from the 70s? 60s? 40s? You can't make the argument that we have much of a tradition in uniforms, especially helmets.

I wish we would go back to the 80's Pony Express look.

I sense there is a strong consensus for a return to the 80's look, but I think we are only going to see minor changes to the existing uniform this year.

Interesting concept of consensus...five or six of you out of how many? Just for the hell of it why don't you run a poll and get the true consensus...you might even be right.

As long as Michigan keeps that helmet they will always be just fine.
