I ran into him last night. Walked up to him and introduced myself as an SMU alumni, which brought a big smile to his face. We then had a nice five minute chat with him about the program. I thanked him for meeting with Copeland. He feels that it's all about recruiting. There is enough talent in the Dallas-Ft Worth area and the school needs to do something to get Dallas and potiental recruits excited about SMU.

I don't see the Horney Toads having to make those kind of excuses and they have arguably outrecruited SMU AT LEAST 15 out of 16 years. One year should probably be called a draw or perhaps a slight advantage to SMU. It most certainly all starts with recruiting a FACT that gets proven each and every year on the Hilltop.

Baylor sure has things rolling in the right direction. Is the Baylor AD new?? Great leadership at the top makes all the difference.
