Current DT Brandon had a brother Byron that I think played in the Ark games that are listed as # 79.
Is that right? Please check my memory on this.
Really good players!!

nope, Byron graduated in 1994 or 1995, he was a good DT, played high school ball with Bam Morris, who's brother Ron Morris was a star for SMU in the 1980's - Cooper has put out some good talent to SMU for such a small school

So, Byron may have played in one of the earlier games.

Byron was one of the most physically impressive guys we've recruited around here in ages. I remember seeing him as a freshman -- what a monster. Plus, he held a striking resemblance (facially) to Lawrence Taylor, so when he suited up in #56, it was almost surreal.
As I recall, he earned a tryout with the Kansas City Chiefs after graduation. And do I remember correctly that he had an option to play in Canada? Don't know if he ever went up there, but I think I remember hearing that it was a possibility.

Byron, his mother, sister and uncle are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They come to every game and tailgate with us.
If you want to know why Brandon and Byron are so big, have a taste of their momma's cooking. Oh my.
I hope Brandon helps the Mustangs to a winning year this year.

Brandon looked a lot slimmer and quicker in the spring. If he maintains that through the summer, he could be much more productive. (After all, I don't worry about him losing so much weight that he gets pushed around!
