Just heard a news blip that Arlington's mayor along with the hillbilly owner of the Dallas Plowboys are putting in a bid to move the College Football Hall of Fame to Arlington to coincide with the opening of the new stadium. They say that the HoF is currently 'under-performing' at its current location in S. Bend, Indiana.

Moving the College Football Hall of Fame from South Bend to Arlington would be akin to moving Yankee Stadium from the Bronx to Hobbs, New Mexico.

Cowboy owner and the Arlington Mayor have more ego than qualifications to attract the College HofF. South Bend at least has the tradition of one of the most storied team in college history. Norman would be better than Arlington as would Lincoln, Knoxville, Ann Arbor, Columbus, Tuscaloosa, etc.
