NCAA 2006 in DC area?Anyone know where to find it in the DC area? I keep seeing all these rumors that CompUSA has been releasing it early throughout the country.
I was one of the few that got one from the CompUSA in Plano yesterday at 10:20am.. I heard they pulled it after selling 4 of 5 copies because of a mix-up.
Played that game all night.. and started an SMU dynasty. Beat Baylor 24 - 14 in the first game. Jumped online and played SMU vs Memphis.. won 30 - 21. Graphics are great on this game! What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.
WalMart screws the timing up all the time, you might try there. With CD's, I know a guy that sells me stuff early as long as I don't tell anybody.
Anybody know if I will be able to import my present dynasty into the 2006 version? My domination of the WAC in the 2005 version got SMU into the Big XII and Baylor booted for lack of competitiveness. I would hate to start over, but then again, I would love to.
If we had the payola from the Big XII that Baylor gets and passed that on to our players (like the other Big XII schools) this could happen. Just send 'da money.
I managed to get Tech tossed in my last 2 Dyansties. Love running the option and blowing out Texas. My son is now an expert at maintaining proper pitch alignment at all times and he is only 7. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of it soon. Class of '91
Well, its a good thing you didn't "Remember Danny - Two wrongs don't make a right but three rights make a left."
have it reserved for the 13th... anybody know what the new things are this year?
hoepfully they have ford stadium nailed down a little better and being an aggies fan also, they better actually have the yell leaders on there instead of cheerleaders... can't wait till july 13th and september 17th when we go down to college station
There is a race for the Heisman mode where you start off as a high schooler in a positional camp, then you get recruited, etc. After college, you can either try for the NFL or go into coaching on the dynasty mode. http://easports.com ought to have something on the game.
Finally picked up my copy. Got best buy to price match Circuit City's $10 off and the ditz at the register misread it and gave me another $10 off, so I got the game for $30 instead of $50. See what waiting a few weeks gets you? Anyway, I jumped right in to dynasty mode and beat Baylor 28-7.
No. 23 (Dorsey) is pretty good in this year's game. No. 4 (Eckert) has a decent arm, but is slow as dirt. No. 82 (B. Chase) catches everything. I subbed in 7 (Phillips) and 33 (Massey) in the 4th quarter-Phillips sucks in the game, but Massey does all right though noticeably slower than Dorsey. I can only hope our O-line is as good as in the game.
Dunno. I didn't look at the manual until after I started playing and realized that L1 and R1 weren't causing my DT to use a swim move or allow the RB to juke left or right. I am not sure I like the increased reliance on the right analog stick; I assume I can change it, but that probably requires looking at the manual again.
