Plains Capital Bank -or whatever-has pulled its sponsorship of the Ft. Worth essentially because no Big 12 teams qualified and because apparently the Big 12 will drop the bowl from its lineup. How long will this bowl last?

Two years. This means we won't get the FW bowl with our 6-5 record this year.

Heck, we can create a lame bowl at SMU just like the froggies. We can call it the Club Corp(sorry Pluckers) Big D Football Spectacular(much more exciting name than the Fort Worst Bowl) and we can feature ourselves if we win 6 games and the top Private School not in a real bowl. If we suck(this should be a scenario that they plan for) then it can be the top 2 private schools not in a real bowl.

The Club Corp Bid D Football Spectacular.

Just wanted to repeat that, because it sounds so cool.

There's a Knuckleheads song in there somewhere.
