Finally got my hands on the template and decided to work on some SMU covers.

The first one (and the only one for now) that I have created is a Chris Phillips custom cover.

All you have to do is click on the thumbnail for the system you want to see the larger image. Then save the larger image on your desktop. As for what type of paper to print it on, I'm still in the process of finding that out myself. If anyone here knows, don't hesitate to post that info here.

Finally, if you have a request for a player, let me know. I will need high resolution images of the player. If any of you happen to know where to find high-rez pics of the players on the Mustangs (or any team for that matter), do you mind sharing that info with me so that I may go find the picture and start the creating?

I would prefer a Ryan Kennedy cover but I still think that this is awesome. Have you thought about setting it up as a complete cover(front and back) so we can replace our existing Braylon Edwards covers with the SMU version. Just print, replace, and play.

That's the only thing I am having a problem with. You should be able to print these off and just place in the sleeve. You don't really need to remove the old cover if you want the back. I don't have the game as I got the template from someone else and it didn't have the backpage on it.

As for Ryan Kennedy, if you are able to find a high resolution image and quite large for that matter, then it would be perfect. I have to have the image large so when I downsize it to fit the cover, it won't look bad. If given a small image and try to make it larger, then it would look very pixelated.

As for the guy on the original cover, that is actually Desmond Howard, the guy that is well known for his Heisman pose (when he actually won the Heisman).

We're probably the only school that has its third-string QB for its front cover of NCAA Football 2006.

Anyone out there have the game yet? Getting mine first thing tomorrow morning.

I'll be making one of Tony Eckert and Jerad Romo soon enough. Then we'll be the only school with all three quarterbacks making the cover.

why phillips? Whos going to be next, Ryan Wolcott?

A legit choice would be Bobby Chase - an accomplished player
