Instead of screwing around with SMU's logo and mascot design, SMU's Athletic Marketing Department should work on something like this instead. I don't think any of us would complain and they'd sell!

Without a doubt! No question about it!
I'll be more than happy to hold auditions for the models for the SMU calendar!

I saw some picture of Danika Patrick all spruced up in some magazine, and they even made her look hot. You wouldn't even have to try hard at SMU, unless of course you were trying to make Dooby's love interest look hot. I can think of a good number of our female athletes that could really turn heads in such a calender. Of course our administration would view it as an objectifying, sexist thing to do. And the Methodist church might say something negative about it or even throw a little muscle to kill such an idea.

Back in the day of the SWC there were a couple of SMU hotties buck nekkid in Playboy's Girls of the Southwest Conference issue, I seem to recall. Did they get booted out?

The girls that represented SMU in Playboy were not full time students. I think one had taken a summer school class and the other one could find SMU on a map.

Ms. Campisi - who recently appeared in a Playboy Magazine - would be a good start.

That and $30,000 will get you admitted...unless you're an athlete.

There was one in there who wasn't even enrolled. She was dating a guy on my dorm floor, and basically moved in. All they asked was what dorm she was in, and bingo -- she got in, touting SMU, without ever taking a class.

well, I have the september 1980 playboy issue of women of the SWC conference. looked up the SMU coed names and then looked in the 1995-6 SMU Alumni Directory. none of the names matched. so if they went to SMU none graduated.

You should scan those pics and post them here so we can see if anybody recognizes them.
