Then the SHOCKER from Lubbock was announced--lowly Texas Tech had upset Frank Broyles' Arkansas Razorbacks in Lubbock. Previously, it had seemed that Arkansas would waltz into the Cotton Bowl. I believe if 40 years have not clouded my memory that Jerry LeVias ran back a long kick for a thrilling last minute victory.
LeVias ran back a long kickoff return for a TD to start the second half of that Baylor game. Dennis Partee kicked a field goal to win it in the last seconds, like he did at UT that year, if my memory is still functioning.
P.S. I wrote this before I read #43. IMHO, the 66 SWC Championship should be rated in the TOP 10. At worst in the top 20.
