How bad should I feel? My daughter just decided to go to UT for graduate school in journalism. Her brother and I are Mustangs. How do we tell the family? :oops:

BTW, how did the term teasips get started :?:

At least Austin seems like a great town! :?

WP. Apparently you are a big failure as a parent. Letting your daughter go to UT is as bad of parenting job as any.

At least my daughter by-passed UT and made the trip north to Norman. I can sleep much better.

Since your daughter is going south and mine is going north, how about a little wager on the TX/OU game?

You say congrats.. it's a damn fine school. If she's able to get in.. props to her.

If I didn't go to SMU.. I would be satisfied down on the 40 acres. Great town, great grad school, and MTV real world.. what more could you ask for?

Don't you mean you will take TX and give the points? By TX/OU weekend the longhorns will be favored.

UT and Brown have a problem with the Sooners. Stoops has got their number. UT may be favored by game time but betting against OU would be dangerous. Are we talking points for the Longhorns, despite the rankings?

kids heading to OU and UT. Man you guys are real failures. Next someone will come on and tell us they have a son going to A&M and joining the Corps. The world is spinning out of alignment, judgment day is coming soon.

I am so sorry that my daughter had to go to OU instead of SMU. But SMU did not offer the degree she wants. It also explains why we miss on FB and BB recruits. If the school does not offer the degree, the student will not attend.
