Now this is a cool story...I was totally unaware of this game and it's impact.

That game was quite a moment, as I recall. Had a seat on the 50 yard line but I never sat down. Stood and cheered the whole game. Band did a heckuva job. Peruna was just a wobbly-legged colt back then. Ahhhh, the good ol' days.
