New QB?

There's a guy listed on the roster named Jason Rowan (6-4, 220) who's listed as a redshirt freshman QB, transferring from Carson-Newman. Not a lot of info on his bio, other than the fact that he was good in HS (as every player was). Does anyone know anything about him? I assume he's a walk-on?

Carson-Newman is a division II school and runs the veer option. He played a little as a true freshman in 2003. 6 rushes for 31 yards and a fumble; no pass attempts.

Based on that description, I'm guessing Corso's right that this guy is a walk-on.
