say it ain't so! Our men's soccer team loses to both Akron and UConn in this weekend's exhibition games? I sure hope coach was experimenting with lineups or something. This team has been a source of pride for SMU athletics in the post deah penalty era. Hope this isn't an indication this year's team is going to disappoint.

SMU plays at South Carolina Oct 30th and I've already started talking that game up to people around here. CUSA is going to be one tough soccer league.

Fear not, Charleston -- Coach Hyndman always uses exhibition games to try new players and to play freshmen a lot. Granted, we're supposed to have some seriously studly freshmen coming in, but they've got to get their feet wet. What I'm more concerned about is: WHERE'S ALEX SMITH ON THIS YEAR'S ROSTER?

He had some trials with some teams in England. I think he came back, though.
