Being a private christian university, is alcohol allowed for tailgating?

No open containers; lots of plastic cups; take care of the empty bottles, cans, etc. DPS guys do patrol.

If you're a Baptist, why do you care? You're not allowed to drink alcohol anyway!

Does the Pope wear a funny hat?

I would probably stick to Dr. Pepper ballsy.. if it's good enough for that Bear of yours.. it's good enough for you right? I'm sure PETA has given you guys hell for feeding your Bears Dr. Pepper.. always thought that was a hilarious sight as a kid.

Seriously.. there are tailgating areas for non-alcoholic parties on the south side of the Boulevard. Everywhere you look outside of that area.. you'll find muchos cervezas.

Look forward to you and the rest of the Baylor folks coming up for the festivities. Just pace yourself on the beers.. you'll need many more after Baylor gets a$$whipped in Ford.

Safe travels!

Baylor is used to the parking lots being dead until an hour before the game, unless Texas, A&M or Tech are in town. Then their lots are filled with orange, maroon, or red/black for a solid 6-7 hours before the game.

Last year a dead parking lot did the job against the likes of aggy. I hear they celebrated for about 6-7 hours AFTER that game.. you guys stick around for that too? :)

LOL, yeah, I sat in the parking lot and finished off a keg of 1554 and then passed out drunk the whole way back to CS.

1554... not a bad choice... I'd like to extend Coach Bennett's earlier invitation (to the Aggie nation) to attend the CUSA championship game later this year. It's on Bennett's birthday. And if you believe him, SMU will be hosting it.

So BeerBus... bring the 1554 to Dallas on the first weekend of December and cheer on your Aggie alum, Phil Bennett. I'm sure you'll find a spot for your keg (that is if you aren't still heart broken that the Prodigal Bennett returned home to steal one from his Alma Mater).

Just bring the 1554.

(...well, optimisim can only take me so far... let's just hope we beat Baylor... it's the biggest MUST WIN since TCU in '97... and we know what happened there.)

TABC and Police walking through this year- paddy wagon nearby?

There goes the smu fanbase. At least it'll be good to get their tickets real cheap.

How do you keep a Baptist from drinking all your beer? Answer: Bring along another Baptist. They'll have a staring contest.

Enough Catholics at SMU that equity REQUIRES alcohol consumption.
