Maybe i see a different roster than everyone else or our old coaches left their slide rule at home. But we currently have 4 DT on the roster and one is a walk on. Croy and Birwell and descent but will for sure need a break on third down. We didn't sign any big D-linemen who can go out and stop the run and be affective on the pass rush. But we did sign 2 more quarterbacks which now gives us six on scholarship. Seems odd to me.

I'm sure that the staff went after DT's however they had 3 commitments that switched after the change in staffs. Of the three, 2 were pretty high quality so that is very tough loss. Seems as if in the Spring, some guys will be shifted to DT and next Fall some of the freshmen may be switched if needed. You are right, it is as obvious a hole as when we didn't have any quality CBs 2-3 years ago. My guess is that the new staff knew all of this but were unable to get any quality late in the recruiting process.

Who are the 4 DTs? I see Lute Croy, Warrie Birdwell, Marcus Walker, Allan Adami, Martin Guidry, Randy Denman, and Recruiting Guru thinks Darrin Johnson could excel at that spot. They're young (except for Old Man Croy), but there's some talent in that group.
