How did it go? I wasn't able to make it 'cause I was stuck at work in Plano...
Any injuries, surprise players to watch?

I am in the same predicament and had the same questions. I an sure the Baylor fans have a recap up on their website.

I am also willing to bet those attending were told not to post anything. But I am sure a PM to you or I would be OK. Just a thought. hint hint.
Gosh, I wish I could have gone.

I can't make Monday lunch meetings because of work. I sure miss the Tuesday morning coffee's.
Since I can not attend this year, please put me on the "Do Not Post" PM list, also.
Thx

FYI: Since next Monday is Labor Day, the breakfast with Phil will return for 1 week and 1 week only on Thursday before the TCU game. Can't imagine why you'd want to get up and be somewhere by 7:30 am, but I'm not a morning person.

Yeah, A PM would be great... I would love to hear the insight. I'd also like to hear in general from the folks that went how positive everything was.. get a good feel of the mood among the coaches, players, and alumni...

Ditto on the PM. PLEASE
Go Mustangs and I am already looking forward to tailgating Saturday with the Bonds family and the chicken.
I sure hope that Arkpony and family get to come to Dallas for the game.
Ya'll come on by a set a spell.

Okay, I am desperately seeking information. I wanted to read the game notes at smumustangs.com, but unfortunately it links over to the UCF game notes... I guess that is the downside of outsourcing the website to a third party

A couple of things about the lunch without violating any confidential information.
The new Letterman's Hall space in the Loyd Center is great. Its still not completely finished (mostly waiting on the flat panel TVs and other A/V equipment - eventually they will also add team memorabilia). This is a great space and will be able to be used for many different events from recruiting functions to away game watching parties. The custom-made bar stools at the windows that look out over the playing field are a great touch.
Coach was his usually, up-beat, positive self. I won't mention any specifics of what Coach had to say about the game or personnel. It was a good lunch and I know that I left feeling positive and fired-up for Saturday.
See you all on the BLVD.

Cruise on over to the blog and enjoy the new feature: "Dooby's Baylor Joke of the Day."

This, no doubt, will provide plenty of bulletin board fodder for the Baylor fans. I mean, the audacity of not trying to prepare the fans for a crushing defeat. Doesn't Bennett realize that Baylor's Morris has a monopoly on being positive?

That took me a while... it was one of those wonderful delayed reaction laughs.

I cannot believe there is nobody willing to PM the scoop to the folks that are clearly SMU fans.
I would have gone but I work in far N. Dallas and it would have taken me 45 minutes to get there, an hour to an hour anda half for lunch and another 45 minutes to get back; if I am out of the office for 3 hours in the middle of the day, my staff gets loopy.

thats too bad, because the 100 or so that were there, work within a block or two of the campus.

I am not suggesting that. I'm not complaining. But I do think there is a difference between working downtown and working at the corner of Legacy and the Tollway. If it would only take me 15 minutes, I would have been there. And I will be there on Thursday morning, where I will have to leave my house while it is still dark to get there by 7:30.
