Your AD/Marketing Dept. should get Hansen to do his 10:00 sportscast from Ford on Sept. 3rd.

Hansen doesn't work weekends. He's too busy playing golf and drinking (and I have to admire him for that).

For those of us that missed it, Stallion....what did Mr. Garblemouth have to say?

Hansen was the reporter in 1986 who had the live newscast, and proudly showed it again on his 10 year anniversary show, that interviewed Jon Stoppervich LIVE on channel 8 about the 50K that supposedly we paid him to attend our school (that amount was later refuted). It was his LIVE interview that began the investigation, that later led to the DP. Dale Hansen is a journalist who reports the facts and I respect that. When he chooses to drag it on for 5 more years after all of us have bitten the Pye model (I know Stallion, that's proPYEitary property of getoveryourselfStallion.com), why would any SMU alum tune in to any thing that guy has to say. We were pulling for F Gregg and the team of 1989 and every team thereafter. The truth hurt, most of us were oblivious, and BELO corp could have tippy-toed into this, but holy-cow batman...they all went to texas u so why would they??? When dale talks, I don't listen. Mustang75: I don't watch Mr. Garblemouth. In fact, I seldom watch the local news. Period.

I get my news coverage from the Internet sites (AP, Reuters, CNN, etc.) and, yes...the Dallas Morning News.

I just wondered what ol' Garblemouth said. Looks like no one else watched, either.
