DMN predictions contradict

In the SMU preview the DMN porjects the Baylor game as a win for SMU - however, in the Baylor preview, the DMN projects it as a win for Baylor.
They should get their story straight.
I know that Whitmire - an SMU grad - did the Baylor preview (as well as all other Big XII previews other than Texas adn A&M), and Watkins did the SMU preview... but you'd think that this being the Dallas Morning News official college football preview pullout section, yada, yada, yada... that they would get together on their picks.
Anyway, nice to see ol' C-Wat pickin' the Ponies over the buhrs.

NOT true. It predicts a win for SMU,
and under Baylor, infers that it should win this one OR ELSE! (as in 'you better win')

GRGB....
um... I don't know what you are talking about...
in the SMU section for Sieptembre they say SMU... 1-2
in Blayor's section, they say 3-0
and in specific... well, I already went into specifics... So please, um, go into detail...

you are just now figuring out that Decherd and Belo are under financial pressure due to their legal troubles over cheating on advertising numbers?
Does anyone care what these doofus think/say? They are going to do everything they can (per their editor's edict) to pump up circulation.
"Baylor will win." "SMU will win." "The fans are the real winners." "The City of Dallas wins." and so on.

Wait. Are you suggesting they did this on purpose or said SMU might win because they are going broke? That kind of logic borders on psychosis.

.....its the Great Media Conspiracy-Baylor style. I wonder if some of you know how silly you sound.

Life is better without the daily garbage that is the Dallas Morning News. When you've had enough, just move on. It's not required reading.

The Morning News is a fine newspaper which gives SMU every inch of space it warrants.

Yes... but if you looked beneath that portion... It said, specifically, that during the month of September baylor would be 3-0, that seems like a Baylor will win the game prediction to me!
(Whereas SMU's Septemebr prediction was 1-2.)
But, all is forgiven today as
Watkins
Whitmire
Fraley
Davis (OU/National)
and Konradi (college editor)
...all picked
SMU to win the ball game.
(Those writers who be forced to issue public appologies on Sunday morning? Brown, Cohen, Carlton, and Vito.)

Interesting to note, however, that three of the four folks who did not picked the Ponies are not based in Dallas... Brown - Austin; Cohen - College Station; Vito - Denton.
