as shocking as TCU's upset of OU was to most people, for SMU to now beat TCU would be even more shocking as I expect the Frogs will earn top 25 recognition for their win.

Give TCU credit. They were dealt the same hand we were when the SWC broke up but they have gone out and done something about it. I'm envious of their success and wish I could work up some optimism for this game...but I have all too clear a memory of 44-0 when I think of playing TCU right now.

At least this game will generate one more good crowd before SMU falls into it's usual "will we win a game this year?" mode and the team ends up playing it's CUSA games in front of friends, family and a handful of SMU faithful.

I should stay away from my keyboard the morning after a game. It's become all too depressing following this program. Even our European men's football team hasn't found a win yet this year.

Please guys...give us a reason to believe this train wreck can be turned around!

Yes, we'll have a huge crowd — possibly a sellout, considering how amped up the froggie faithful will be.
I disagree that beating them would be a bigger upset. TCU played fantastic football yesterday and should be commended for it. But at the same time, OU played about as badly as it can. It's not like TCU beat the OU team that was blasting people last year. With the two new QBs in there, OU looked lost, offensively, and with the passing game limited, TCU stacked up the line for Peterson and threw lots of different looks at the young Sooner QBs.
TCU played a terrific game in Norman, and deserves all the praise they're getting (I can't believe I just wrote that). Let's not make BCS bowl reservations for them just yet, but I admit, they look a hell of a lot better than I thought they'd be this year.

As Bennett said, last night's game was not a must win game. It's hard to say if Bennett even cares, he wins 6 games in 3 years and gets a contract extension.
