What we still need.

One post about Baylor game is this.... We played well the first half. Well, better than the second half.

Hats off the the D for stopping Baylor after the turn overs.

WE NEED MORE BIG MEN. In the second half we got tired. I understand that most of our bigger players are Sophmores and younger. I like the trend that the older players are not the bigger guys on the team but we need MORE.

The QB switch was good at first but Baylor figured out to bring up the Saftey or Outside linebacker when the second back lined up in the backfield. At that time we should have brought Eckert back in and had them re-think again, adjust again. If we have two QB's lets use them by switching them more often.

Too many jitters at the start.

We all know we lost but I did have a good time and saw improvement.

Go Mustangs - BEAT TCU.

that type of switch ain't going to work the entire game because neither QB is adequate in BOTH phases of the game RUNNING and THROWING-both are QBs with obvious defiencies in one of these aspects. It doesn't take a whole game to figure this out.

what we still need is to figure out how this team is going to find 3-4 wins on this year's schedule. I felt coming into this season that we had a chance to be an improved team that could win 3 or maybe 4 games, but I had counted on last night's game as the 1st W. If we can't win 3 at home (and that now looks doubtful), we could be looking at yet another casualty in the coaching carousel that has been post death penalty SMU.
