Definately. Im hoping we dont over look you guys. Especially after knocking off #1 West Monroe. We looked VERY good in the game. Had it been under Texas rules we would've won 35-0 officially.

Had three touchdowns called back. One for holding and two for calls that would've been legal under Texas rules.

I have to admit, Im hoping for a blow out and a shut out. I dont want it to be close at all just because I want our first string to get some more rest and have our 2nd/3rd string get some playing time. We got a big game againsit Evangel the next week which Im hoping we also dont over look you guys for that game.

Should be a fun one. Im hoping for it cause man. Not going to say it.

OK Mustang 35- you kicked our tail. I think Longview could possibly win Conference USA. They are very very good!! I know we had a few gimme touchdowns late and the score does not reveal what a blowout it was. Why can't we get some of those 6"6 receivers to the hilltop.

Also the Longview band was freakin amazing. You guys are up there with the Aggie band. Did you notice LH gave them a standing ovation? If you drive a suburban then I was parked 2 spaces behind you. I saw lots of pony gear on the car.

What a night it was for sure.

I was in the blue/red Yukon XL. Had tons of SMU stuff all over it

But the Lobos definately looked good Friday night. Im sure you heard us all sit on our hands when McGee went down in the 1st quarter. Not to mention when Ivory fell on his head like he did.

But we looked very good. Carlin Freeman didnt even play most of the game. Miles came into the game after we went up 14-0 bout midway through the 2nd quarter. Im very happy about that cause Miles has definately earned it and this playing time will help us so much next year.
I dont know why Miles played that drive when I think about it more. But I dont think I saw Carlin in there after the first quarter...

I still cant believe that catch to end the 1st half. Pure greatness. It was almost the exact play that won us the game back at Lobo Stadium a few years ago.

The Lobo Band definately looked great. I was so happy to see the LH faithful on their feet at the end of the routine. Definately wish they would've done the Rockin L like they had done the past two weeks but the Lake Highlands band asked for them not to (why I dont understand but ok?).

Definately see the State Record rising again this year with a 56th straight UIL I at the competition.

So a few things that the Lobos have to work on before the playoffs start but we looked very good. I was hoping we would hold onto the shut out, just beacuse we havent had back to back shut outs in forever but it was good to see us up 38-0 at the end of the 3rd. Glad King called off the dogs and got some players in on the game.
