I forgot about the Navy debacle, thanks for the memory. SMU went up in flames that day...literally.

Atleast we stayed close in the Baylor game and only lost by five. Dear Lord that Navy game was a disgrace from the time we set the grass on fire till the end of the game.

The Baylor game was not as close as the score made it looked like. Our Ponies played very uninspired football.

You have got to be kidding, PonyTroll. We lost to a team that's not too great but not as bad as some folks think (they did beat A&M last year), and you want to compare it to a game in which we were completely run over by Navy? Your "let's stir up all the PonyFans with moronic ideas based on anything but facts or reality" act is old and tired. Comparing these two is like comparing the loss of some change between your couch cushions and having your wallet stolen. There's a little difference between the two.
And which of these were the parts you call "uninspired"?
Richuel Massey's and Jerad Romo's running?
Ro Humphrey's great play on defense AND special teams?
The better-than-expected play from Ieremia-Stansbury, Haywood, Bonds and Rogers?
How about those interceptions by DD Lee and Jamey Harper? Were those uninspired?
Or maybe the way -- after playing poorly early on -- Tony Eckert and Bobby Chase led the drive for the team's last touchdown?
Was it a perfect performance? Of course not. But to suggest it was as bad as the Navy disaster is idiotic.

You're wrong dude. The entire state of the program is a disaster bigger then the Navy debacle.

A loss, is a loss, is a loss.......................the only thing that is certain is if TCU had played Baylor, the Bears would have gotten their [deleted] kicked and if we had played OU, SMU would have been lucky to score!!!

We were expected to beat Navy. Navy was winless the season before. And we did not give Bartell a shot in that game when he was the passing QB and we were way behind.
Baylor was a disappointing and key loss but not an unmitigated disaster like Navy.

The reason the baylor loss is soooo bad is because it shows where the program is. Bennett has had time to get his players in place and he has been around and this was a year with some promise. All of that has ended and we now know that SMU is worse than Baylor which means it is about the 8th or so best school in the state. I really hope SMU doesn't schedule a IAA opponent next year because I'm not sure my heart can take it.

I was referring to the I-AA schedule, what did you think I was referring to?
