Maybe we can expect this spread to widen?

I think yes. Our spread offense will be the reason for an offensive spread.

Sounds like the conventional wisdom is that OU is really not that good this year and that TCU is only somewhat better. With Gunn in there I am not sure that is true.

Glad to hear such a defeated attitude. I hope your players are not reading this mess. Yes, we beat Oklahoma and it was a great feat. But SMU faired well against Baylor, and Baylor is still a Big 12 team. Your offense moved the ball well and showed quickness.

Therefore, we do not know what to expect. Plus are secondary was never challenged in the OU game ;therefore, we do not know what to expect out of our secondary.

Yes, think we will win. But this lack of morale by Pony fans is troublesome.

It wasn't long ago we were collecting all the belts and shoe laces in cowtown when Sullivan was there.

Thanks for the positve notes! Who knows what will happen! I know victorys like TCU had is exactly why there needs to be a playoff system. Any given saturday that can happen.

Its sad when TCU fans are more positive about an SMU program than SMU's own fans.

I never thought I would [deleted] about a frog saying we need to be more positive, but to say:

I must ask what the hell are you on? Did you see the game? The only offensive weapon we had was Massey, and I use the term "weapon" very loosely. Evey ball that Eckert threw was about a mile over the receivers head and Romo was much better at moving the offense, but Phillips could do that better and might have a chance to complete a pass. This is the worst I've ever felt about an SMU team. If it wasn't for our defense it would have been UGLY...errrr, uglier. But as they showed in the first game they won't be able to last on the field 80% of the game. I don't see how we win a game this year. That might be a blessing, I don't see how they keep Bennett after two 0'fer seasons.

TCU is going to whip SMU again. People call this a rivarly but it is not. SMU has failed to give TCU competition for several years now. TCU commits to playing Division 1-A football. SMU does not. The results will show again Saturday. Copeland sucks and is incompetent. He should be fired to show the few fans left that SMU does not tolerate losing and losers for that matter. Yes, Copeland is a fat loser. I said what many of you are thinking. Bennett needs to quit his 'rah rah' and start producing. This is his last year. I heard he already placed an anoymous ad in the paper for a job. Goodbye and thanks for the pathetic loser football. We need to hire Southlake Carrol's coach. See everyone Saturday drunk and depressed. Go Mustangs!!!!!!
