Remember when some Baylor alums ...
Posted: Tue Sep 06, 2005 4:57 pmhired an airplane with a derogatory banner about Tom Stanton to fly over a Baylor football game. All this talk about Copeland just reminded me of that incident. I though it was pretty funny.
Anyway, I'm not a Copeland fan at all but you do have to give him credit for his part in getting Ford stadium built, and running a clean program that graduates players. That being said TCU, Tulane, Syracuse, Miami, USC, Boston College, and Stanford graduates players at a 50% clip or better and manages to string a couple of winning seasons together and mix in a bowl game here and there. Hell I remember when Rice had a couple of winning seasonsin 90's.
I was going to make the trek for the Marshall game. But I don't know now.
I'll have to think about it.
