FOX SPORTS FEARLESS PREDICTIONS 38-10 TCU

TCU is favored to win by Fox sports 38-10. Their reasoning is if we could hold Adrian Petterson to 63 yards how will SMU backs manage against TCU's defense.

ME PERSONALLY BELIEVE THE GAME IS GOING TO BE A LOT CLOSER. EXCEPT FOR LAST YEARS BLOW OUT THE GAMES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY CLOSE. MAY THE BEST TEAM ON THAT DAY WIN. GOOD LUCK!

That Peterson kid is good, but he's no DeMyron Martin.

Besides, without having looked it up myself, I'd be willing to bet that the same Fox "experts" called for OU to smoke the froggies last week. That, as they say, is "why they play the games."

You are comparing an unknown to a known great player?!!!? Don't do this. You make SMU fans look stupid when you do that. I hope Demyron is great, but we haven't seen him play yet. I'm pretty sure DM won't be playing on Saturday.

Norm on the Ticket predicts the ponies will beat the spread this weekend. I think they will too. My prediction:

21-17 TCU.

You are right on your last point that the game will have to be played. SMU is not going to be as easy of a game as many TCU fans believe (truly believe, the ones that post on this board are holding back in case of an upset). It will be hard fought and I would not leave an SMU win out of the relm of possibility.

easy there chief, I am pretty sure he was joking about the peterson comment. Aren't you the same person that pulled the race card because Phillips isn't starting?

Will it be close, who's to know. After the drubbing we took last year it is hard for me to say it will be, but we did play them close the year before. I can't make a call on this one. My heart says we lose a close one, my head says we lose by a few TDs. Either way, I guess we don't have to wait long to find out, and who knows maybe they will completely shock me and pull out a W.

the most impressive thing to me is that DeMyron Martin didn't make the usual freshman mistakes like fumbling even though I'm sure the Frogs were trying to yank the ball out of his hands in the 4th Q. As Ron Meyer used to say for every freshman inthe lineup you're likely to lose one game on turnovers. We've already had some big turnovers and mistakes by our younger players but you got to keep playing them. Next time Columbus is going to take it to the house.
