I am so proud of my ponies tonight. What a showing.
I live in San Francisco and was with a bunch of UT fans watching their big game tonight. After their win (hell of a game), we had the Mustangs on full time, and had the entire crew cheering for the ponies. After the win, we hit the streets singing the SMU fight song. The richies of Pacific Heights had their fill of "Peruna". Great feeling.
Congratulations to the team today. Amazing accomplishment. Great day to be a Mustang.

Great Win!
We went to Milo's after the game and everytime they showed the SMU highlights, the whole bar went nuts....
We still have some work to do, But I for one have cheered for this team blindly the last 20 years and this is the biggest win I have ever seen.
GO PONIES!!!

I think it goes without sayng that every SMU fan is proud today. I'm even going to leave the flag out all week (usually comes down the day after a loss). And another TV game next week!
Bottom line is that our guys showed a lot of heart out there last night. Can't help but love the fact the froggies were ranked...that score will run across ESPN's sports ticker all night and morning. Just might catch some recruits' eyes, ya think?
Great win for these players and coaching staff. I know the season's still young, but all of us who were predicting doom and gloom after the Baylor debacle owe them an apology...and congratulations

Thank you for the appeal for reality!!!
SMU is better than the loss to Baylor and good enough to beat a ill-prepared TCU team.
Go Mustangs.
Bennett was very calm and kind on the post game interview!!
He was SO happy and proud. No judgements at the time just praise.

I am one that predicted doom and gloom, and couldn't be happier to have been wrong! Sorry Phil Bennett and players, you were great! I was sitting here cheering wildly in front of the computer all night listening to the game over the internet. I have always been a fan of Bennett (he was a great recruiter at KSU), but down on the Administration for 'cuffing the program's ability to compete. Now that some of these JuCo guys are coming on line and Phil's recruits are maturing, is it possible that we have turned a corner? I know it is early, but I cannot help but be excited.
Next week should be interesting.
Go Ponies!

stud, dont worry about next week. A&M is coming off a bye week and a loss. It could be a long afternoon. No matter, the key is the Tulane game in two weeks.
