Return of the M&M Boys?
Posted: Sun Sep 11, 2005 8:28 amThose who know me know that I was at SMU between 1970-1974 so I was a student BEFORE the Pony Express. In my day we had the M&M Boys (Alvin Maxson and Wayne Morris, who both played in the NFL after leaving SMU). I've got to say that it looks to me like we have the making of the 2nd generation M&M Boys with Martin and Massey. Massey reminds me of Maxson and Martin of Morris. Very similarly built. I noticed that Massey seemed to get really excited and ran harder from the 2 back set after Martin's success. I like that tandem. Any other old timers have similar thoughts?
