Why was SMU hurrying the offense in the 4th quarter? We needed to use up the clock and we were hiking the ball with 20 seconds left on the play clock time and time again.

In the early part of the 4th quarter I know we were hurrying but in the later parts (after we went up 21-10) we were holding the ball till 2 seconds remained on the play clock, saw that several times.

Mustang 35- I wrote you a note on page 4. The Lobo's were amazing! The Lobo Band was amazing! Can you point Chris Ivory to SMU?

We need:
- To be encouraged by the fact that we beat TCU and Ryan Kennedy has yet to catch a pass this season.
- To figure more angles from which we can send pressure toward the passer. A&M's line is very good.
- To protect better .... on offense, on punts, on field goals. You think TCU can bring pressure? A&M can bring it. Their LBs can fly.
- To mix in a play-action pass. After watching the TCU film, the Aggies are going to expect Martin to carry the ball 80 times. Kennedy and Chase could be big Saturday (well, they're already big, but .... you see my point).

I know it's probably relative, but some aggies were commenting on their message board about their lack of speed at linebacker.

Special teams, special teams, special teams :!: Why do we go through this every year? Two or three blocked punts, shanked punts caused by bad snaps, two blocked field goal attempts, and a long run for a TD by TCU in a critical beginning of the 3rd quarter situation.

Thats what we need to work on.

I'm concerned about Romo telegraph his passes on those short outs & hooks, like the ones caught by Sledge & Chase last night. An opponent with good team speed & coaching could jump those routes and off to the races they go.

agreed! new snapper??

Same story every year. Do they not practice this during the week?? These are fundamental problems that need attention immediately.

If I remember correctly, we have a new deep snapper this year...and practice is not the same as game day. He'll get better.

If memory serves me correctly isn't that new deep snapper, new to the position, and either a red-shirt or true freshman?
