We've always played them close and they remember that hail mary that saved them a few years back at Pyle Field..

Remember this catch.. ?

guys, we're improved, but please dont even mildly expect a win or even a very close score next week. We are gonna have some hangover effects just like Tcu did this week. And A&M is gonna be in a foul and energetic mood after a bye week and a close loss on the road.

Even if we lose big, there is no cause for meltdown. Now if we dont show for Tulane, then we have a problem.

In know way do I expect a win.. but I would love to see us hang tough for the first quarter.. or first half. That's all I would "like" to see. Anything more would be great..

Would be nice, however, to see a little more misdirection in our gameplan. Aggy will be pumped.. so use what over-pursuit that might be there.

Anyway.. will be fun regardless of outcome.

Here's to our last win.. and here's to our boys going into a hostile Pyle Field and playing until the final whistle is blown.

Get ready for conference.. most important..

Go Stangs!

Very true.

However, with that said .... how about two shockers in two weeks?

I have been to Aggie land a number of times, and our boy's have never played in front of a crowd this large or wild!

if reggie isn't more of a factor than he was in week 1...smu can hang in there much longer than one quarter.

Like I was for the TCU game, I'll be happy if SMU doesnt get blown out.

If we tackle like we did against Clemson then y'all could stick around for a while. Fran's teams are notoriously slow starters so you never know. Also the early start time does not bode well for us. I still think A&M wins by 17-21.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. He still runs a 4.3 and has a huge arm. We have to play extremely smart, or he can really make us pay. He's an extraordinarily talented guy who had a less than extraordinary game at Clemson. He's very dangerous.

We gotta' put Phillips on the scout team this week to simulate the Reggie McNeal factor.

(And I don't want you A&M fans jumping all over this and saying blah, blah, blah Phillips isn't McNeal blah...)

(Oh and, blah.)
