Posted: Mon Sep 12, 2005 12:26 pmAccording to DMN: "Texas Tech safety Vincent Meeks has been in Rockwall County Jail since Thursday after being sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating probation. Meeks, a former Rockwall High standout, missed the Red Raiders’ opening game Saturday. Texas Tech coach Mike Leach would only say that Meeks was absent because of “personal issues.â€
I guess if one of his players were shot dead (a la Baylor) he would say the player was inactive because he was on the "injured list"...
