I was going to post it yesterday, but the server was down...
Hey, before I go ... way to go SMU. My alma mater gets thundering applause from me after upsetting the TCU Horned Frogs. It was only a couple of days ago that I called Frogs coach Gary Patterson to congratulate him on his season-opening win over No. 5 Oklahoma. Gary told me he was excited but worried his team might not be ready for my Ponies. Gary was right about that. SMU played with passion and purpose. Something it hasn't done in a looooong time

nothing wrong with that if thats all he said. If you cant say that, then most of us wouldn't be considered good alums either.
Even so, I still like Demyron saying what he did and wanting respect and support, even if it was in the heat of the moment. The Stangs still have some work to do to prove TCU game wasnt a fluke and that we really are significantly better.

I wonder if he watched part of the game, or if he based that insight off 90 seconds of highlights.

As far as I've seen he seems to keep an eye on the Ponies... I would assume he caught the end... and hell his daughter goes to SMU.

He quietly keeps up with the Mustangs from everything I have heard. As far a DeMyron calling him out good for him. By the way, kudos to DeMyron and the line on that last touchdown, stuffed at the three and the whole pile just kept moving toward the goal line. I'll bet that play made BUS cry with tears of joy.
