For those that don't have All Access you can listen to the SMU-TCU radio broadcast at http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/recap?gid=200509100082 Click the TCU link next to the speaker. Sure helps the work day fly by.

What makes it even sweeter is hearing the defeated TCU announcers. Enjoy!

Hadn't heard that yet. Brian Estridge (of ESPN radio) has a really uncomfortable crush on everyone at TCU.
Cracked me up yesterday to hear the ad they've been running for froggie football tickets, where he and his sidekick are yammering away about the froggies. They touch on the fact that "four of the first six opponents went to bowl games last year" -- perhaps they should re-record it to say "four of the first six opponents went to bowl games, and SMU beat us, too."

Hmmmm .... they beat a bowl team, we beat them .... we're going to a bowl, right?

Can you post a link for clips of their announcers?

At the link I gave it is the TCU broadcast of the game in its entirety. You gotta listen to the whole thing to hear the best plays (no pausing, Fast Forwarding, Rewinding, etc), but it's worth it.

One of the best parts is hearing the play-by-play guy GROWL when he gets excited. Kind of a cross between the "Hey hey HEY" from Fat Albert and any verbiage from Grover. Pay special attention to the start of the second half when all seems to be going right in Froggyland.

That guy cracks me up. He's now on Galloway's talk show in the afternoons, and when he's trying to sound all sincere or deep/thoughtful, he mutters so quietly it's almost a whisper. But when he reaches into his stash of froggie gear and starts calling a game, it sounds almost like he's going to start singing. Badly. The calls from the OU game were comical. A win as big as that would have sounded fantastic with an announcer like our own Rich Phillips, Brad Sham or the great Keith Jackson.
