Austin Area Mustang Fans... Anyone need a ride?

If anyone in the Austin area wants to hop in the car with LonghornFan68 and myself, we will be leaving A-town in the AM and returning after the game to head to the Owls v. Horns game... we have room for more.

Also, those seasoned travelers to Collie Station, please advise on where to park. I'm a bit concerned about my car's well-being because it has various propaganda peices (UT and otherwise) affixed to the rear that might incite bad feelings in some gomers who happen to gaze upon it. In other words, I'd like to park among other Pony fans... you know, safety in numbers. Heh.

As to parking, there will be planty of room in the barnyard as most of the animals will be with their dates at the game. :wink:

I actually took all of my SMU and longhorn stuff off of my car. We were trying to decide where to park also. I think we are going to park in one of the lots north of the stadium closest to the section we are sitting in. We are going to be pushing it to get back to Austin to tailgate and see the game as is. How early are you guys planning on leaving Austin? Are you doing the SMU BBQ tailgate before the game?

I was with a longhorn friend a few years back and his car was one of the many that had crap done to it that year. I would rather just put new stickers on when I get back. Paranoid maybe, but those aggies hate Texas more than anything. I wouldn't worry about my SMU stuff but I needed new stickers anyhow.

Funny.... about the stickers... not the vandalism.

My roommate was telling me that they vandalized cars with UT stuff on it, I didn't want to believe him... I just can't believe that folks would be that uncouth.

Aggies are the only people I know that buy their vehicles to match their bumper stickers. Have you seen how many aggie bumper stickers are attached to maroon cars. Corps turds buy tan cars to match there lion tamer pants.
