TCU wins...and shut up Turdstreit

Postby BRStang » Thu Sep 15, 2005 10:20 pm

23-20 over Utah in OT. What a letdown. I guess the silver lining is that we look that much better

And how many times does Kirk Turdstreit have to say..."after that embarrassing loss to SMU..." Go to hell, jack@ss!!

Go Ponies, beat the milkmen!!

I'd even be ok with "tough loss to SMU..." I guess, though, he's gotta take out his frustration from being at that ugly, crappy stadium on somebody.

Do you mean "perennial", toad? I see you earned a quality degree from Tarrant County University.

Rodgers (#18) only big play is the illegal pick against the UT DB that springs DUPriest for the OT TD. Otherwise, you're looking at a possible FG (and your K suck) to salvage OT...

But, I digress... Oh, and I forgot we won 21-10!

got to give TCU credit. They have 2 big wins in their 1st 3 games. A blowout win over SMU would have had them hovering near a top 10 ranking right now and knocking on the BCS bowl door...but it didn't happen...and they have to be devastated by it.

Bottom line in all of this is that SMU needs to show that game was no fluke. Let's worry about our own business

I don't know about a top 10 ranking...but it would've been a nice set up, certainly. The only problem is that being in C-USA and the Mountain West gets you about zero respect. Marshall, BG, Louisville can go 12-0 and be no higher than 5th.

Yeah because y'all play in the big 12 and are ranked higher than 5th all the time. I think I'd be OK with being ranked fifth.
