Unfortunately, we are not paying him to be a great person, we are paying him to help this team win football games and so far, he has failed!!!!

I am pretty sure that their are lots of great people out there. The question is not whether Phil is swell but can he win. If he can't win then he needs to be gone.

He can certainly turn it on when he needs it.

I am sorry, but I don't understand.

Mother Teresa was said by some to have been a saintly person. That quality has nothing to do with the possibility that she might have been the answer so many have awaited to coach football at SMU.

I do suppose PB will be considered if Tulane needs a DC down the road.

ProudPonyPa: we know you and Donnie saw the cold business side of Bennett, but I expect most I-A head coaches are like that. I hope Donnie found a place to play...thought I had heard NE Okla or something like that. Division II? Hope he's doing well and enjoying himself.
