Nah. But he has a great deal of affection for Tulane (and former SMU) defensive coordinator Eric Schumann, and he sounded like he's spent a lot of time thinking about what the entire Tulane community has gone through. They have nothing. The coaches were in t-shirts and gym shorts, and the players were wearing practice helmets. The fact that they can even run a practice is extraordinary. I didn't think Swanny was rooting for Tulane, but it's hard to root against them. They're my #2 team this year.

I was happy that my alma mater won but will be rooting for SMU for the rest of the season. Thanks for being a friend of Tulane University. John Gilman

it was a pretty well officiated ball game. No replays. The fumble that Nnanbufie stole was forward motion. I never saw the block in the back on Humphreys Int run back but not sure it was a bad call. Very few controversial calls.

The Nnabuife fumble was the correct call, but damn, that whistle was blown quickly. Henderson's fumble against .... Baylor, I think, never would have beeen called with that official calling forward progress.
