STUDENT BODY SECTION?

Where was the student body section yesterday? After a tremendous and VERY supportive showing against TCU, they were absent yesterday against Tulane. Those 'thunder sticks' looked impressive (and sounded good!) against the Frogs. They were almost non-existent yesterday in the s.b. section.

Someone said that the change in kick-off times conflicted with some events that were planned for 'Family Weekend' (i.e. Parents' Weekend). If so, that's pitiful. The football game is supposed to be the HIGHLIGHT of 'Family Weekend'!

Who can blame the students for not going to see another pitiful SMU team get dominated again!!!! Even you left the game early yesterday.

You're fulla crap, p.s. I stayed til the FINAL gun and sang 'Varsity', too. Unlike you, froggie troll.

The student body section was LAUDED for its efforts in the TCU game. Despite the game against A&M (which many believed was not winnable to begin with), the students should have been at yesterday's game, too.

Oops! My mistake. The student body section can be seen in today's 'Photo of the Day'. All six of 'em!

After losing to the powerful Tulane Green Wave.. expect the bleachers of the student section to be absent. Who can blame them? Our 1989 team had a more creative offensive team than this one. Has Rusty Burns ever heard of a vertical game?

At this point.. I don't know why we don't start getting J. Willis or C. Phillips time. Our 2 Senior QB's are not the answer and we need to start concentrating on next year.. sad but true.

The worst thing we could do is burn red-shirts at this point.
