BIG TIME effort

Now, I just saw a team that REFUSED to lose. A team that found a way to win, despite frustration after frustration, in particular in two other games earlier this year. A team who showed discipline down the stretch, a team who when it appeared there was no chance to win gritted forward and made it happen.

Problem is, that team today was Marshall.

Nice.

This game was like having that hot woman for the first time in your life. The win...just like that relationship...is there, but you have to pursue it, then keep it, take care of it, nurture it, be on your best for...otherwise, someone else will come and take it.

gotta give Marshall a lot of credit. They never quit. Can't say you couldn't see this coming. Our inability to sustain any offense at critical times and our lack of depth on defense sealed our fate in this one. Rogers and Muse were gassed in that 4th quarter...couldn't sustain any pressure and couldn't contain. Loss of Ieremia-Stansbury really hurt today.

Meanwhile, I'm frustrated with the complete lack of any running game and am more and more convinced this team could be more successful with better coaching. We don't have enough talent to run this offense. Too many slow developing plays out of the shotgun. This coaching staff is going to waste DeMyron and Richuel's talents
