He must be almost 70 years old.
Lou Holtz is just too old to begin a rebuilding plan anywhere.

Posted: Sun Oct 02, 2005 8:27 pmI know Paterno is 5-0. I also know that his act as gotten old in recent years. Nice start, and I don't think it will last, but even if it does, I don't want him. All of those guys have won games, but they're not appealing to me.
I'd take Bowden, but I'd also take George Halas, and he's just as likely as Bowden (or Paterno) to coach at SMU.
