Among many two things stand out in these stats.
1--We cannot run the ball.
2--Kennedy had one catch for 1 yard.
Here are the stats:

that time of possession surprises me. We obviously dominated the 1st 3 quarters (could explain the 10 pt lead). The 4th quarter was all Marshall. I will credit their guys for not giving up and will credit their crowd for getting loud and helping provide needed energy late in the game.
The 4th quarter melt down also exposes our depth (or lack thereof). Rogers and Muse were providing good pressure thru 3 quarters, but appeared to be getting whipped in the 4th. Coaching staff needs to recognize that trend and do more situational substituting earlier in the game. How many snaps did Therien and Griffin play?
Bennett is obviously aware of this issue. He consistently talks about our "lack of numbers". I really do think we are making progress and regardless of what so many will say, we will get better on both lines next year because most of our 2 deep will be returning. It hurts to lose one like this, but it just confirms that we've got a long ways to go before we have a quality 2 deep littered with guys who have been in the program 4-5 years.
