Who is in charge of the promotional content during the televised games?

The SMU 'promo' used during the MU game seemed old and outdated.

Is this Athletic Dept Marketing or did somebody in the SMU Admin fall asleeps for a few years?

The 'unis' alone tell you it's been a while since they filmed the piece.

I think Lester Jordan put that piece together to run during the Movietone newsreel at the Palace Theater.

It's the same one that's been airing since I was in school ('99-'03). I actually know a couple of guys in it.

Yep.

Definitely outdated. Shows old uniforms, cotton bowl, old band uniforms (electric blue!), etc.

I was watching the game with one of my best friends from high school, and during the promo, it shows Ford Stadium under construction. He said "Oh cool, is SMU building a new stadium?" and I had to say "no, that's a 6 year old video."

Pretty sharp video but our campus is vastly different from the late 90's (ford stadium, entire "east quad"), let's reflect that in commercials.

So will this same piece of amateur tripe be used during ALL of SMU games during the CUSA season:
FB, BB, VB, futbol, etc?

What a great video marketing tool for the school!
