Come on...Oh the fans yell obsenities at us...maybe thats why they always choke. I cant believe this is even something to complain about. It is a football game, and a rivalry at that there is going to be plenty of fans yelling things for both sides, not to mention what goes on on the field. Maybe OU should complain that the site is not neutral because its still in Texas. They could play at Fayetville.

yeah I also thought before reading this article that this is the last thing that Mack Brown and UT needed this year for their image to sound whinney and complaing. This is the year that UT should come in confident and sure. But if you read the article this was a manufactured article brought up in public first by the reporter who simply asked why OU always got the south end zone. He tripped over an issue that had been in the shadows. Still I'm sure UT wasn't happy with the tone of the article.

I think it's reasonable to expect that the stadium could be filled according to who is the home team that year. That way, each year's experience would be slightly different.
And actually, OU does complain about it being in Dallas. That's why there is serious consideration about making this a home-and-home game. I would think that someone who supports a team from Dallas would know all this.

Won't matter at the end of the game.. No sooner fans will be there when Texas walks through the tunnel at the end of the game. Have a feeling Mack and co. will hit the accelerator and not let off of it until the final gun.. just to please the alums and their frustration the past few years.

I support SMU from Dallas, and although I've adopted the 'Horns as my good team to root for this year, I'm not sure why I should have known all that.

Well, I guess you don't watch local news or read local newspapers. I'm not really sure how you could miss it.

Not as they pertain to the Texas/OU game. Prior to this year, why would I care? And even this year, I really only care about the outcome.

I support a Dallas team, though I don't live in Dallas, so my access is limited, and yes I was aware OU complains about it being in Dallas, but you dont see a DMN article on that do you.

I am not really sure you should have known all that either, what a puzzler?
The only thing i have heard them complain about is the Cotton Bowl facility.

And look, now that I've adopted them as my team, UT better not let me down, or I will browbeat them for missing their chance a a national championship every bit as bad as I've browbeaten SMU for being unable to be competitive at all.

If you look at this game Texas should win by a lot, but then again should be very interesting Brown vs Stoops hmm.......

Let's not talk about Texas/OU, they have no place on this board. As far as I'm concerned, Brown and Stoops can go have a gay liason, not that there's anything wrong with that. Two cheaters playing each other, boy am I excited.

My two favorite teams are: SMU and Who Ever Is Playing The Longhorns!
